The state of Tamaulipas endorses the promotion of its destinations, segments and tourist services in the Valley of Texas, participating in the traditional “Winter Texan Expo 2022” event, which in its 28th edition, expects 6,000 attendees.The Tamaulipas delegation includes representatives from the border municipalities of Río Bravo, Matamoros, Soto la Marina, Miguel Alemán, Camargo and the Magic Town of Mier, not to mention tour operators, hoteliers, entrepreneurs, and medical personnel, headed by state Tourism undersecretaries José Luis Martínez Portilla and Edgar E. Solís Islas, on behalf of Tourism Secretary Fernando Olivera Rocha.This health and wellness expo represents an ideal space to broadcast the medical work at the border cities of Reynosa, Matamoros, Río Bravo and Nuevo Progreso, where quality services are offered at affordable costs.
The “Winter Texan Expo” brings together thousands of Americans, many of them retired, who come down to South Texas during this winter period from different parts of the United States and Canada to take advantage of the southern climate at the McAllen Convention Center and electing nature and rest centered destinations for their next vacation.Given this opportunity, Tamaulipas presents its tourism and wellness experiences catalog to visitors, a digital tool that promotes different services and destinations.
