- The port of Tampico will welcome 1,000 real estate professionals next year.
- The national conventions that the state would have hosted in 2020 have been re-scheduled for 2021.
Tampico, Tamaulipas. – The MICE segment continues to strengthen in the state of Tamaulipas, with the announcement that Tampico will host next year the National Convention of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals, A.C.
In a press conference held in this port, the Secretary of Tourism of Tamaulipas, Fernando Olivera Rocha, accompanied by authorities of this important association of real estate agents and by Mayor Jesús Nader, shared details of this new achievement that will increase the number of conventions to be hosted in Tampico in 2021.
“This is a convention that will attract more than 1,000 professionals for 4 to 5 days. They will be able to enjoy the gastronomy, shopping options, and sightseeing tours in and out of the city of Tampico.”, indicated the secretary of state Tourism.
During the announcement, the authorities recognized the collaborative work and coordination that took place for months between the State Government, the municipality, the National AMPI and its local chapter, where, everyone’s efforts, ended with results and good news for Tamaulipas.
Roberto Barrios Gaxiola, national executive president of AMPI, stated that the decision to choose Tampico as the venue for its annual convention was based on the work carried out by Tampico and recognized a safe, clean and all the capabilities Tampico.
The AMPI 2021 National Convention joins the events already scheduled for Tamaulipas during the next year.
