Promoting in young people the knowledge and love for their state, the Secretary of Tourism of Tamaulipas coordinates the activities of the Tourism Week 2022. Event where 150 university students will tour the main tourist destinations in the central and southern area of ”The Surprise of Mexico ”.
The participants from the municipalities of Nuevo Laredo, Reynosa, Soto la Marina, Ciudad Victoria and Tampico, represent the present and future of tourism in Tamaulipas, hence the importance of taking advantage of the conference, making them aware of the tourism potential that the state possesses. informed the Secretary of Tourism in Tamaulipas, Fernando Olvera Rocha.
Since its inception, the “Tourism Week” has made it possible to publicize among young people the opportunity that tourism represents for Tamaulipas. In its third edition, it reaffirms itself as a valuable space to unite the educational sector with the work carried out by the State Government in terms of tourism promotion.
During his initial dialogue with the young people, Olivera Rocha invited them to get to know and fall in love with all the segments, destinations and opportunities that Tamaulipas offers. A state that has it all and that in terms of tourism, during the government of Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, has stood out at the national level.
The visits to the municipalities are enriched with talks, forums and activities where professionals from the tourism industry will help young people to get to know different areas of the activity. Promoting teamwork and the development of tourism projects that allow them to see their professional future from another perspective.
On their trip through Tamaulipas, the young people will visit tourist attractions that distinguish each of the municipalities that they will visit during the week. The TAMUX Museum, the Parque del Camino Real a Tula, the Janambres area and the “Las Guacamayas” tourist hostel. Enjoying the “El Ojito” spa, the “Monterredondo” vineyard, the “Arroyo Loco”, the Nacimiento and the castle of Nueva Apolonia.
